The Project

We have been asked by Maria Jacobsen the senior archaeologist at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center to replicate a signal lantern found inside the H. L. Hunley Civil War submarine. It is our intent to replicate the lantern, test it in a signaling reenactment and then donate the lantern to the Warren Lasch Conservation Center.
